Job Description

Role Overview: As a Software Application & Development professional at Guidehouse, you will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining applications using a variety of technologies. You will work on both Front-End technologies such as React and HTMX, as well as Back-End technologies including .NET/.NET Core and/or Go Lang. Your role will involve implementing RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native applications using platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Additionally, you will collaborate with other team members, participate in code reviews, and support existing applications. Key Responsibilities: - Build, test, and maintain applications using Front-End technologies like React and HTMX, and Back-End technologies such as .NET/.NET Core and/or Go Lang. - Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures for seamless system integration. - Use Entity Framework for database access in .NET applications. - Develop cloud-native applications on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Implement and support microservices-based solutions. - Collaborate with other developers, testers, and team members. - Participate in code reviews, follow best practices, fix bugs, and support existing applications. Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of hands-on programming experience in .NET/.NET Core and/or Go (Golang). - Hands-on experience in React and/or HTMX. - Experience with Entity Framework in .NET applications. - Working knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines, with GitHub Actions being a big plus. - Cloud development experience, with Azure preferred and AWS/GCP also valuable. - Good understanding of microservices. - Experience working with SQL Server databases. - Familiarity with Git and version control. - Ability to write and execute unit/integration tests. - Good communication skills, both spoken and written. - Team player with the willingness to learn, adapt, and manage time and tasks effectively.
