Technical Associate - Boiler

You should possess an ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering along with a minimum of 5-6 years of experience. Your exposure and knowledge should include handling Fire tube Boilers, High pressure and Medium pressure Plant steam Distribution system, Unloading, Storage and Transfer of HSD & LDO (CCOE Tanks), as well as knowledge on Softener systems. Your technical skills should consist of hands-on experience in working with Burners, PRDS Station, Economizer and Blowers, chimneys, etc. Additionally, holding a First Class Boiler Operator certification and familiarity with GMP & GDP is required. Your behavioral skills must reflect Safety Orientation, Quality Consciousness, Transparency, Achievement Orientation, Stakeholder Management, Analytical Thinking, Accountability & Ownership, Collaboration, and Service Orientation. As for your roles & responsibilities, you will need to showcase good knowledge of the Operation and maintenance of Boiler, CCOE Tank yard, and softener plant. Troubleshooting day-to-day issues in Boiler, CCOE Tank yard, and softener plant is also a crucial aspect of the role. You will be responsible for reporting incidents during breakdowns to the supervisor, ensuring preventive maintenance of equipment is performed within the due period, and conducting periodic inspections of the Boiler and Compliance w.r.t to Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR). Additionally, you will be accountable for the issuance, control, and retrieval of documents (Logbooks) related to the Engineering Department, as well as maintaining Spares, Inventory, and Dosing Chemicals as per the requirement. Desirable criteria include experience in Operation & Maintenance of Water System and Black Utilities, ETP & STP. The location of this position is at Ferring India Laboratories.,
