You should possess an ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering along with a minimum of 5-6 years of experience. Your exposure and knowledge should include handling Fire tube Boilers, High pressure and Medium pressure Plant steam Distribution system, Unloading, Storage and Transfer of HSD & LDO (CCOE Tanks), as well as knowledge on Softener systems. Your technical skills should consist of hands-on experience in working with Burners, PRDS Station, Economizer and Blowers, chimneys, etc. Additionally, holding a First Class Boiler Operator certification and familiarity with GMP & GDP is required. You will be responsible for reporting incidents during breakdowns to the supervisor, ensuring preventive maintenance of equipment is performed within the due period, and conducting periodic inspections of the Boiler and Compliance w.r.t to Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR). Additionally, you will be accountable for the issuance, control, and retrieval of documents (Logbooks) related to the Engineering Department, as well as maintaining Spares, Inventory, and Dosing Chemicals as per the requirement. Items like Deareator tanks, Moving grates, APH, Ductings, Pipings, Furnace structure, Chimneys , Skids, Feeders, Structural , Cyclomax, Jackets, Headers etc. Collaborate with Engineering, Planning , Operation ,Projects , stores , vendors & Finance. Understand the specifications, client / consultant requirements. Study of techno-commercial requirements of clients , Budgets , current market rates to establish benchmark prices. Prepare Zero based Costing & Techno-commercial negotiation with Vendors. Prepare justification in case of overrun than budget. Material procurement as per applicable ITP / Code / Specifications / Drawing / approved Vendor list.
