Technical Architect - NodeJS

As a Technical Architect specializing in MERN Stack, your role will involve leading the design, development, and scalability of next-generation software platforms. Your deep expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js will be crucial in guiding multiple engineering teams towards building robust, scalable, and high-performance systems. Collaboration with product, design, and engineering leadership will be essential to define the technical roadmap, drive architectural decisions, and mentor teams to deliver high-quality software. Key Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end architecture across multiple MERN-based applications. - Design scalable, distributed systems using best practices in microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native patterns. - Define technical standards, code quality guidelines, and architectural blueprints. - Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams to build high-quality, maintainable applications. - Provide technical oversight for backend (Node.js/Express), frontend (React.js), and database (MongoDB) components. - Partner with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment of requirements, architecture, and implementation. - Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for scalability, reliability, and security. - Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, deployment pipelines, and DevOps practices. - Provide strategic input for projects integrating with or extending the MERN ecosystem. - Collaborate across technologies like TypeScript, React Native, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) as required. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 5 years working deeply with the MERN stack. - Strong expertise in React.js, Node.js + Express.js, and MongoDB. - Proven experience in designing large-scale systems with high availability and low latency. - Strong command of system design, API design, and architectural patterns. - Experience in building and leading agile engineering teams. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience in SaaS or product-based companies. - Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ). - Candidates with deep technical acumen but limited formal management experience will also be considered.,
