Experience:10 + Years Location: Bangalore/Pune Should be willing to work from Office mandatorily, Shift Timing : 6:00 PM IST to 3:00 AM IST Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days only Key Responsibilities: Wireless & Wired Network Design Design enterprise-grade wireless network solutions for retail and office environments, Develop high-density wireless network designs considering coverage, capacity, and interference mitigation strategies, Experience in wireless surveys using tools like Ekahau or AirMagnet to ensure optimal AP placements, Ensure compliance with customer technology standards, security guidelines, and wireless policies, Provide recommendations for AP positioning, RF tuning, channel planning, and optimal antenna selection based on floor challenges (high ceilings, metal interference, etc ), Design highly available and scalable LAN/WLAN architectures integrating Meraki & Juniper Wireless, Meraki & Juniper Switching Experience Provide design expertise and hands-on support for Juniper & Meraki switch configurations, VLANs, routing, and QoS policies, Collaborate with teams handling switch refresh projects & new builds across sites, Assist in integration of wireless infrastructure with Cisco & Juniper switching fabric, Project Coordination & Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with project managers, vendors, and customer IT teams to drive seamless execution, Participate in change control and governance processes to align wireless deployments with project timelines, Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless issues across multiple sites and escalate as needed, Required Skills & Experience: Core Networking & Wireless Expertise: 8+ years of experience in enterprise wireless & wired network design and implementation, Deep expertise in Meraki Wireless or Juniper Wireless solutions, Advanced knowledge of Meraki or Juniper switches, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and QoS best practices, Knowledge with site surveys using Ekahau, AirMagnet, or similar tools, Proficiency in RF design principles, antenna selection, AP placement, and interference mitigation, Wireless Optimization & Security: Expertise in RF tuning, channel planning, 802 11 protocols, and wireless QoS, Hands-on experience in wireless security mechanisms (WPA2/3, 802 1X, RADIUS, EAP-TLS), Understanding of wireless performance troubleshooting using Meraki Controller, or Juniper Mist AI, We would require profiles as per below skill matrix for this requirement Skill Area Required Proficiency Level Remarks Wireless Technologies (General) Yes Expert Strong grasp of WLAN standards (802 11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF planning, channel management Cisco Meraki Wireless Design Yes Either one or both Proficient to Expert Dashboard-based network design, templates, and AP placement strategies Juniper Mist Wireless Design Proficient to Expert AI-driven Wi-Fi planning, BLE location, and Marvis integration Ekahau Wireless Planning Yes Intermediate to Expert For pre/post wireless surveys, AP planning, and RF analysis LAN Switching Design (L2/L3) Yes Intermediate to Expert Strong understanding of campus switching, VLANs, STP, routing protocols Cloud-managed Wireless Yes Expert Experience in managing wireless infra via cloud (Meraki Dashboard / Mist Cloud) Wireless Security (WPA2/3, 802 1X) Yes Intermediate to Expert Designing secure wireless networks and integration with RADIUS/ISE/NAC RF Troubleshooting & Optimization Yes Intermediate Using tools like Ekahau Analyzer, Mist SLE, or Meraki Health Documentation & HLD/LLD Writing Yes Proficient Ability to create professional High-Level and Low-Level Designs Project Experience (Office & Industrial) Yes Proficient Design experience in large office spaces and complex environments like warehouses Communication & Customer Interaction Yes Strong Ability to lead design workshops, customer discussions, and handovers Certifications (Preferred) Optional N/A Meraki CMNA, Mist AI Certification, CWNA/CWDP, JNCIA-MistAI
