Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect Linux Software Application to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications running on Linux platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux system internals, open-source tools, and software architecture principles. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to define the architecture roadmap and ensure technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and lead the architecture of Linux-based software applications and systems.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

• Define and enforce coding standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices.

• Evaluate and select appropriate tools, frameworks, and technologies.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Ensure system scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.

• Perform architectural reviews and technical risk assessments.

• Lead the performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of Linux-based applications.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Design and lead the architecture of Linux-based applications with a strong focus on Qt-based GUI or cross-platform development.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

• Translate business and product requirements into scalable, modular, and maintainable software architecture.

• Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices for Qt and Linux-based application development.

• Collaborate with product management, UX/UI teams, and stakeholders on application design and usability.

• Lead efforts in performance tuning, memory optimization, and application debugging on Linux systems.

• Stay abreast of evolving technologies in Qt, Linux, and open-source ecosystems.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Qt (Qt Widgets, Qt Quick/QML, Qt Creator, Qt Multimedia) for application development.

• Deep understanding of Linux system internals, multi-threading, and performance optimization.

• Proficiency in C++, with solid grasp of object-oriented design and modern C++ standards (C++11 and above).

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

• Familiarity with build tools (CMake, qmake), version control (Git), and debugging tools (gdb,valgrind, perf).

• Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker), CI/CD processes, and deployment strategies.

• Experience developing HMI, touch-screen, or Embedded Device /kiosk-based applications using Qt.

• Familiarity with embedded Linux platforms or real-time operating systems (RTOS).

• Knowledge of OpenGL, Wayland, or cross-compiling for ARM architectures.

• Experience in cross-platform development (Linux/Windows/macOS).

• Contributions to open-source Qt or Linux projects.

• Exposure to agile methodologies and DevOps culture.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years in a software architect role
