Job Description

Key Responsibilities: - Quickly and accurately answer technical questions, with a focus on Illumina's bioinformatics and software products - Professionally triage, troubleshoot, and resolve customer complaints efficiently - Provide technical guidance on the selection and use of the appropriate Illumina product to customers - Triage and dispatch issues requiring field support to Illumina or official Channel Partner Engineers and Applications Scientists - Log and manage customer issues using Illumina's issue-tracking database - Manage cases to ensure appropriate and timely action and resolution - Conduct web-based product trainings and application seminars for Illumina customers - Provide oversight and feedback on channel service operations - Report problem trends, reagent, and product quality issues to Regional/Global Product Support - Perform additional duties as needed Qualifications Required: - Ph.D./M.S. or B.S. with 2+ years of relevant experience in bioinformatics, molecular biology, genetics, or related field - Experience with secondary and tertiary NGS analysis tools - Proficiency in optimizing or troubleshooting bioinformatics pipelines and software - Basic knowledge of Linux and scripting, along with basic network troubleshooting skills - Hands-on experience with Illumina sequencers and/or library prep is a plus - Previous commercial experience with channels and distributors is advantageous - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are required - Excellent written and verbal communication and training abilities are a must - Experience in a service role is desired - Familiarity with working with distributors in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, or Africa region is a plus - Willingness to travel up to 20% (Note: All listed tasks and responsibilities are essential functions of the position, with potential accommodations based on business conditions.),
