Technical Analyst

As an Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) Technical Analyst at Emerson, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting business solutions within the GTM instance along with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) to support the Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) program. Your expertise in GTM/OTM will be instrumental in the continuous improvement and support of SCO functionality. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing support for the GTM/OTM application including break/fix, enhancements, monitoring, testing, and issue resolution. - Collaborating with Trade Compliance and ERP IT Program/Project Managers to understand requirements and assess mapping and alternative solutions. - Assisting in program rollout activities, working closely with 3rd-party technical personnel, monitoring processes, and ensuring comprehensive SCO system documentation. To excel in this role, you should possess: - 4 to 8 years of experience in developing and supporting Oracle GTM/OTM solutions. - Expertise in GTM functionality such as restricted party screening, item classification, and ERP-Trade Compliance integration projects. - Hands-on experience with day-to-day GTM systems triage, familiarity with OTM, and knowledge of integration, EDI, Middleware systems, logistics management principles, and various ERP systems. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to conduct detailed data analysis effectively. While a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, essential qualities for this role include a strong customer service orientation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a global, matrixed team environment.
