Technical Accounting - Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager at Connor Group, you will have the opportunity to work directly with clients and collaborate with a diverse group of talented professionals. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading crucial meetings with clients - Coaching and beginning to lead training sessions - Reviewing work and ensuring quality standards are met - Owning project management and engagement tasks - Enhancing your personal brand and expertise in various areas - Involvement in business development activities - Providing excellent client service and building strong client relationships - Adding value through complex transaction analyses such as IPOs, M&A, and SPACs - Supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff at all levels - Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback - Leading and managing multiple projects while owning client relationships - Supporting growth efforts through market research and maintaining client relationships You should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Rated top 25% of Big Four class, CPA license preferred - 7+ years of public accounting and industry experience with a minimum of 3 years in public accounting - Experience managing teams and owning work product - Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent - Familiarity with a broad range of industries including tech, biotech, and life sciences - Professional and personable demeanor - Strong interest in technical accounting and helping clients - Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to motivate teams - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel - Willingness to travel occasionally (about 10% of the time) Connor Group is a specialized professional services firm founded by Jeff Pickett, a Big 4 alumni and industry executive.
