Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager (TAM) who is enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment. As a pivotal member of the TAM team, you will showcase your profound technical knowledge and customer-facing abilities to formulate and implement the team's strategic plan. This role involves interacting with various departments such as product, field sales, engineering, and marketing, thereby playing a crucial role in ensuring customer adoption and success. Your primary focus will be on nurturing strong technical relationships with key customers who have extensive and intricate SingleStore deployments. Beyond assisting these customers in leveraging our technology, you will actively contribute to developing applications that significantly impact business operations. As a TAM, you will collaborate closely with clients to seamlessly operationalize their solutions from Proof of Concept to Steady State. Your effective communication and documentation skills will provide executive management with valuable insights into our product's status and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Serve as the ongoing technical manager and SingleStore liaison for select enterprise customers. - Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, aiding them in advancing their SingleStore capabilities. - Work with the marketing team to document customer solutions and enhance their referenceability. - Address customers" Enterprise Architecture challenges, particularly focusing on Ingest, Backup/Restore, and BI. - Utilize resources within SingleStore to cater to customers" business and technical requirements. - Manage and ensure resolution of customers" support cases, product bugs, enhancement requests, and action items. - Investigate new support cases, understand issues, follow up to ensure proper attention. Required Skills and Experience: - 5+ years of experience with complex applications or distributed systems. - Proficiency in working closely with customers and partners to deploy complex solutions successfully. - Hands-on experience with technologies like SingleStore, MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle SQL, NoSQL, REST, Hadoop, Linux, Python, PHP, BI/ETL solutions. - Knowledge of Kubernetes and data storage/cloud technologies and protocols. - Familiarity with network troubleshooting and network storage protocols. - Linux OS and System Administration experience. - Experience with Salesforce.com CRM & case management. - Ability to work and learn independently. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's Degree preferred. - Willingness to travel within the region (~25%). *Note: Applicants must be available to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours (6:00 PM to 3:00 AM India Time).
