Key Responsibilities: - Participate in Sprint planning for requirements and implementations. - Estimate the efforts to deliver the user story development. - Participate in daily scrum calls to update the progress. - Manage user stories in centralized sprint management tools (like JIRA). - Develop, test / validate user stories with respect to acceptance criteria defined and Demo. - Participate in sprint backlog refinement. - Participate in the Sprint retrospective meeting and record the lessons learned. - Participate in PI Planning for sprint. Core skills: - Bachelor or Master's degree with 5+ years of strong Python development experience. - OOPs concepts: Functions, Classes, Decorators. - Data structures: Lists, Tuples, Sets, Dictionaries, Time complexity. - Other concepts: Python scripting, pickling, Lambda Functions. - Experience in Debugging in a Python IDE (pycharm, jupyter, vscode). - Design and implement APIs, deep understanding of REST, SOAP, HTTP, etc. - Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and extraction. - Experience working with one of the Databases i.e., SQL, Postgres, or SQL Server. - Experience in project management in accordance with AGILE (SCRUM) methodology. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, stakeholder management skills. Good to have: - Experience working with Banking, financial services. - Experience with Pandas, Numpy. - Good object-oriented programming background (java / others). - Understanding of Sybase/oracle db.
