Role Overview: YASH Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake and MS SQL Server. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing scalable data solutions, providing technical guidance to the development team, and ensuring the reliability of data ecosystems for analytics and reporting across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of data pipelines and integration flows across SQL Server and Snowflake. - Review and guide developers on SSIS package optimization and troubleshooting. - Set coding and design best practices for SQL and Snowflake development to ensure performance, scalability, and robustness. - Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers by providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing. - Collaborate with solution architects and business stakeholders to design data models, schemas, and warehouse solutions for enterprise analytics. - Drive initiatives to ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across platforms. - Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root cause analysis, and propose long-term improvements. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering processes, tools, and frameworks. Qualification Required: - 8-10 years of professional experience in data engineering. - Deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, indexing, query tuning, stored procedures). - Strong hands-on knowledge of Snowflake (database design, ingestion, data sharing, security, and resource management). - Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end data warehousing and ETL/ELT solutions. - Prior exposure to SSIS package review, analysis, and troubleshooting. - Strong understanding of data architecture, performance tuning, and optimization strategies. - Experience in leading or mentoring developers and providing architectural guidance. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into business-aligned solutions.
