Tech Lead

You will be responsible for leading backend architecture and development using Node.js and microservices-based design. Your role will involve designing, building, and scaling backend services, APIs, and real-time data processing pipelines. You will be expected to spearhead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and make strategic decisions on scalability and system design. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps, frontend developers, and QA will be essential. Additionally, you will optimize MySQL databases, implement efficient querying using Sequelize ORM, and develop advanced search functionality with Elasticsearch. Ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines and working closely with DevOps for cloud infrastructure optimization (preferably AWS) will also be part of your responsibilities. Enforcing best practices for code quality, performance, security, and testing, as well as mentoring and guiding a team of backend engineers to promote a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement, will be key aspects of your role. In order to excel in this position, you should have at least 6 years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js. Your experience should include designing and scaling backend systems in the E-commerce domain. A solid understanding of Express.js, Sequelize ORM, and MySQL is required. Experience with Elasticsearch for search indexing and querying is also necessary. Proficiency in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and RESTful API development is essential. Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker is preferred. Strong debugging skills and experience troubleshooting performance and scalability issues are important. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are a must, as you will be responsible for mentoring junior developers and leading project initiatives.,
