Role Overview
We are looking for a
Frontend Tech Lead
who is a strong hands-on engineer with solid leadership abilities. You will lead the technical direction of our frontend stack, own key architectural decisions, and ensure we ship fast, reliable, and scalable user interfaces.
You ll be expected to write production-grade code, guide other engineers technically, and work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
What You ll Do
- Lead the
technical direction
of the frontend team and own critical UI components and modules. - Stay hands-on:
architect, design, and develop
high-performance UIs using ReactJS
and Tailwind CSS
. - Define and enforce
coding standards, best practices, and reusable patterns
across the frontend codebase. - Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver
delightful, high-quality user experiences
. - Optimize frontend performance
bundling, caching, lazy loading, code-splitting, and CDN strategies
. - Drive
technical design discussions
, estimations, and sprint-level planning from an engineering perspective. - Conduct thorough
code reviews
, provide technical mentorship, and help level up the team. - Set up and improve
frontend observability
analytics, monitoring, logging, and error tracking. - Contribute to
hiring, onboarding, and technical evaluation
of frontend engineers.
Required Skills
-
5-7 years
of frontend engineering experience with at least 1-2 years
in a tech lead / senior engineer role (ownership of modules, mentoring, or leading small teams). -
B.Tech/M.Tech
from a Tier-1/Tier-2 college (IIT/IIIT/NIT, etc.)
OR experience in leading product companies
. - Deep expertise in
ReactJS
(hooks, component architecture, state management). - Strong command of
modern UI development
using Tailwind CSS
. - Strong fundamentals in
data structures, problem-solving, and frontend system design
. - Proven experience optimizing performance for
large-scale or high-traffic applications
. - Hands-on experience with
CDN integration, caching strategies, and frontend deployment pipelines
. - Solid understanding of
browser internals
, rendering lifecycle, and performance/debugging tools. - Excellent
communication skills
and ability to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
