Crafting technical solutions to challenging problems
Architecting, building, and optimizing our cloud-based hosting services, increasing our reliance on infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code
Partnering with OWG business units (Retail, Health & Life Sciences, etc.) to understand business and client needs and opportunities for hosting
Advising and supporting teams building on our internal PaaS hosting solution, and potentially with our clients seeking digital transformation opportunities
Contributing to a strategic roadmap of technical development of our hosting offerings
Writing, testing, and delivering pieces of the strategic roadmap
Working with a team to manage and maintain our extensive cloud-based hosting environment
Automating and improving existing hosting environment to reduce manual workloads and/or increase security posture.

Skills

DevSecOps tools: Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitOps, Azure DevOps, Chef, Terraform
Cloud Platforms: AWS/Azure
Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux Ubuntu
Database Platforms: Relational RDBMS (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, for ex) and NOSQL (MongoDB, Hadoop, for ex)
Monitoring and logging: Prometheus, Check, Nagios, Grafana, Splunk, DataDog
Networking: Understanding of VLans, Subnets, Load balancing, Network OSI, Network File Sharing Protocols, VPN Technologies
