Tech Delivery lead

Primary Purpose:

This person will be responsible for the development, project management, quality, and timely delivery of the project. Within the scope of your responsibilities will be client-based projects, client liaison, and cross-functional development. The technical delivery manager should have a demonstrated history of leading deployments of Enterprise Software Solutions in a client setting and a passion for providing actual commercial value to customers. You will be responsible for managing the whole systems development and project lifecycles, from gathering requirements to coding, testing, and implementation. You must demonstrate individual, functional, and professional knowledge to ensure that all work products and deliverables are of the highest quality.

Role & responsibilities:

• Identify key business objectives and provide solution recommendations while performing business proves and management consulting analysis.
• Lead on and off shore Teams, planning, executing, and tracking multiple projects schedules and scope.
• Manage scope of projects from inception to closure. Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets.
• Identify and anticipate issues and risks. Be prepared to manage issues and risks that may arise and resolve issues that prevent project success.
• Provide technical support and participate in the Change Control Board and or change control process.
• Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kickoff and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks.
• Ensure project consultants are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards.
• Facilitate team meetings to communicate progress, status, issues, assignments and urgency.
• Ensure delivery processes are efficient and cost effective.
• Delivery Management objectives in Onshore & Offshore Model for multiple clients across the globe.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Good technical experience in Java/.NET/node, Angular, DevOps and open source projects.
• Extensive background in development and delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle.
• Experience working in Agile process and result-oriented culture. 
• Deep program management experience managing multiple projects varying in size at one time; PMP/Scrum master certifications preferred
• Understanding and experience working with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud 
• Delivery Management objectives in Onshore & Offshore Model for multiple clients across the globe.
• Project Management skills including Estimating, Scope Management, Budget Management, Time Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Issue/Conflict Resolution, Communication Management, Quality Management, Testing Plans, Training Plans, Team Management
• Creativity, motivation, and strong communication;
• Superior written and oral communication skills; 
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture.

Technical Skills

• Programming languages: Java/.NET/node, and frontend technologies like Angular, React, VueJS
• Cloud: AWS, Azure or GCP and related DevOps tools 
• Knowledge of building and consuming REST API 
• Understanding of microservices based architecture is good
