Team Member - Indirect Taxation

Role Overview: As a member of the team, your role will involve providing support to various businesses in Indirect Tax (IDT) matters. This includes obtaining permissions and representing the company before Central / State authorities. You will serve as the primary contact between departmental authorities and the company for indirect tax matters. Maintaining positive relationships with tax and other relevant authorities will be crucial. Staying updated with legal and procedural changes in various IDT laws that affect the company's activities within the State(s) is essential. You will be responsible for validating Monthly / Periodical GST returns filed by the Central Team(s) and handling audits / inquiries under GST in consultation with the State Head. Furnishing data / information requested by GST authorities and managing replies in consultation with the State Head will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, dealing with returns, assessments, and litigations related to VAT for Non-GST goods will be included in your role.
