Team Member - Indirect Taxation

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing support to various businesses in IDT matters, including obtaining permissions and representing the company before Central / State authorities. You will act as the primary point of contact between departmental authorities and the company for indirect tax matters. It will be your duty to maintain friendly relations with tax and other relevant authorities. Additionally, you will need to stay updated with legal and procedural changes in various IDT laws affecting the activities within the State(s) and inform any significant changes to Central IDT. You will validate Monthly / Periodical GST returns filed by the Central Team(s) and handle Audits / enquiries under GST in consultation with the State Head. Furnishing data / information demanded by GST authorities and filing replies in consultation with the State Head will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be dealing with returns, assessments, and litigations related to VAT (for Non-GST goods).
