Job Description

Please note

8-10 years of relevant experience in Aluminium chloride plant handling/Cl2 handling experience.

Responsibilities:

Manage shift operations of the AlCl bagging area to achieve budgeted annual production targets.
Oversee smooth bagging operations, monitoring process parameters and product quality.
Verify and segregate finished goods by grade and packing type; supervise vehicle inspection and loading activities.
Plan and maintain records of bagging materials and aluminum ingot inventory for continuous operations.
Coordinate with the Instrument Department for periodic calibration of weighing balances.
Ensure proper inspection, availability, and arrangement of wooden pallets for finished goods storage.
Maintain housekeeping standards and enforce strict adherence to safety practices, including PPE use and work permit compliance.

Desired profile:

Lead and manage shift operations of reactor and chlorine systems, ensuring smooth and safe plant performance.
Oversee material dislodging, handling systems, and adherence to packing specifications.
Plan and deploy contractual manpower with clear job detailing and supervision.
Prepare and maintain SOPs, SAP entries, and daily schedules for production, maintenance, and packing.
Drive quality-focused production to achieve targets while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
