Team Manager HVDC C&P - Protection team

As a Resource Planning Manager at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in building a strong team that can lead in technology and business development, drive market direction, and achieve significant growth. You will need to work towards increasing capacity by x4 through a combination of doubling the workforce and enhancing productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and allocate resources for medium to long-term projects based on tender and project forecasts in collaboration with the global organization. - Ensure department KPIs are met, such as on-time delivery, quality, and productivity, while also achieving financial targets. - Review and approve techno-economic offerings in tenders/projects, assess risks and opportunities, and oversee routine reviews and follow-ups with project teams, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams. Recruit personnel within the HC budget. - Uphold HITACHI Energy Group compliance, integrity, health, and safety standards within the team. - Improve processes as necessary, provide technical support, and contribute to the team's development. - Conduct personnel assessments, set targets for direct reports, identify development areas, implement development plans, establish key competencies, and ensure succession planning. Motivate the team to maintain high energy levels. - Participate in strategic initiatives, develop local strategies, plan for future scope expansion and competence development, and drive operational improvements. - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Hold a bachelor's degree. - Have a minimum of 13+ years of experience in Control & Protection Engineering Design & Operations. - Possess knowledge and skills in Power Systems and Control, Protection. - Preferred knowledge of process structuring & process management, along with proficiency in Office tools. - Display self-starter qualities with strong attention to detail. - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
