Team Leader - Underground

As the Team Leader - Underground, your role will involve leading a team to safely and efficiently deliver bulk explosives to underground mining operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading daily underground blasting operations, including loading and maintenance activities - Ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols and reporting all incidents and near misses immediately - Conducting daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings - Maintaining up-to-date training records and ensuring emergency response equipment is accessible - Supporting audit actions related to safety and operational standards - Promoting environmental stewardship and maintaining high housekeeping standards - Collaborating with clients to meet production targets and operational KPIs - Proactively engaging in problem-solving with customers on-site and fostering strong working relationships Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering from reputable universities - Minimum 2 years of experience in underground mining operations - Proven experience in leading teams in a high-risk, safety-critical environment - Strong understanding of blasting techniques and explosive handling - Working knowledge of Indian mining regulations and safety standards is highly desirable In this role, you will demonstrate courage, resilience, and flexibility while maintaining a strong reputation for integrity, ethics, and personal values.
