We are seeking a Test Lead, Martech platforms with a strong foundation in modern web technologies and a passion for automation, AI-driven solutions, and digital marketing platforms. This role goes beyond traditional Testing it requires a consultative approach, the ability to design intelligent systems, and a drive to optimize digital experiences through data and innovation. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high productivity and professional growth. Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and areas for development, ensuring efficient utilization of resources. Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications. Ensure thorough coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements. Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks for testing using Python. Enhance existing test automation suites to improve efficiency and coverage. Track test progress and ensure timely reporting of test results, defects, and any deviations from the plan. Use advanced SQL skills to query databases for data validation and testing. Write complex SQL queries to validate data transformation and integration. Identify, document, and prioritize defects. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and re-testing of defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements, clarify ambiguities, and provide testing insights. Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies in AI, automation, and martech. Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in software testing, with significant expertise in both manual and automated testing. Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, Estimations, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java). Experience with performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, OWASP tools) is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities. Strong database skills (SQL, PL/SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, ETL). Hands-on experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, VSTS). Exposure to digital marketing platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), or loyalty systems is a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence. Preferred Qualifications Strong ETL and Data warehousing skills/experience is added advantage Experience with AI/ML frameworks (scikit-learn, AWS AI services, or similar). Knowledge of Digital Marketing platforms (Adobe Experience cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GCP, etc.). Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and ethical AI practices. Consulting experience or client-facing roles in martech or digital transformation projects. Personal Attributes Strategic problem solver with a consultative approach to problem-solving. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Passion for innovation, automation, and delivering business value through technology. Self-starter with a growth mindset and adaptability to evolving tech landscapes.
