Job Description Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead - Python to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Python programming, along with expertise in web development frameworks and tools. This role requires both technical proficiency and strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor team members effectively. Key Responsibilities: Python Proficiency : Utilize your strong knowledge of Python to develop and maintain robust, scalable applications. Ensure code quality and performance through best practices and effective testing strategies. Web Framework Expertise : Demonstrate proficiency in Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF) to build RESTful APIs and web applications. Your understanding of jQuery and CSS will enable you to create seamless and engaging user interfaces. Object-Oriented Programming: Apply the principles of class-based object-oriented programming (OOP) to design modular and reusable code structures, enhancing maintainability and collaboration within the team. Web Technologies : Leverage your knowledge of standard web technologies, including HTTP, client/server models, and RESTful architecture, to facilitate smooth communication between client and server applications. Database Management : Utilize your experience with SQL and PostgreSQL to design and optimize database schemas, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity and performance. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, facilitating their professional growth and ensuring project success. DevOps Knowledge: Implement DevOps best practices, including infrastructure as code, monitoring, and logging. Desired Candidate Profile Proven experience in Python development with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Expertise in Django, Django Rest Framework, jQuery, and CSS. In-depth understanding of class-based OOP principles. Solid grasp of web technologies, including HTTP and REST. Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL for effective database management. Previous experience in a team lead or management role, demonstrating the ability to handle and guide a team. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
