Job Description

Experienced in managing routing on Peering models and Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), with a solid understanding of Looking Glass and DPI tools. Proficient in QOS/HQOS, HSRP/VRRP, EtherChannel, and VPN solutions for both Layer 2 and Layer 3. Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex L3 VPN services and L2 VPLS domains. Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach. Expertise in QOS design and configuration is an added advantage. Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding core technical teams and facilitating cross-functional coordination. Practical experience with tools such as BMC Remedy, ECRM, Netcool, and MRTG. Familiar with 5G network architecture and skilled in VoLTE. Solid understanding of RAN and core architecture within mobility networks. Deep knowledge of IPv6 and subnetting. Proficient in route summarization, segment routing, and EVPN. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper products. In-depth expertise and practical application of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and ISIS, including addressing families such as BGP-LU. Skilled in segment routing, MPLS, ISP, RSVP-TE, and troubleshooting complex MP-BGP services. Knowledgeable about DNS architecture, with experience resolving service-level DNS issues preferred. Comprehensive understanding of ISP networks and the use of communities for managing ISP traffic in mobility networks. The rapid growth of 5G networks demands advanced technical expertise to ensure seamless service assurance. Below are the key responsibilities for this role: 1. Lead a team in troubleshooting CEN/MPLS/ISP/5G networks, ensuring compliance with KPIs. 2. Conduct technical discussions with vendors and ISP peering partners to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and optimize traffic. 3. Develop and mentor the team to enhance their technical and professional capabilities. 4. Maintain a focused approach to executing tasks following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and MOPs (Method of Procedures). 5. Strategize and define configuration cases and roadmaps to address technical challenges in collaboration with the internal NOC team and planning/vendor partners (Cisco & Juniper). 6. Foster a digital mindset to efficiently address and resolve recurring transactions. 7. Build strong connections with circles/customers by sharing NOC best practices for managing 5G networks, addressing their concerns, and implementing actionable solutions.
