The Team Lead, HR Shared Services is responsible for leading centralized HR operations and delivering consistent, high-quality services across the organization. This role demands a strategic thinker and operational expert who can collaborate cross-functionally to build scalable, compliant, and employee-centric HR processes.
Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the HR Shared Services team across multiple locations. Oversee core HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee data management. Prepare and maintain Knowledge Base articles, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and process documentation to ensure consistency, compliance, and ease of training across HRSS functions. Manage relationships with external benefits and compliance vendors, ensuring service quality, timely delivery, and adherence to contractual obligations. Ensure vendor compliance with Indian labor laws, PF/ESI regulations, gratuity, and other statutory requirements. Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and other stakeholders to co-create and refine HR processes that align with business needs. Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, translating business priorities into scalable HR solutions and driving alignment across functions. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance service delivery and employee experience. Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR operations and vendor performance. Manage HR systems (HRIS) and ensure data integrity and security. Handle employee queries and grievances related to HR services. Support audits and ensure documentation is up to date and accurate. Leverage ServiceNow to manage HR service delivery workflows, ticketing systems, and employee self-service portals. Configure and optimize ServiceNow modules for HR case management, knowledge management, and reporting. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred). 10- 12 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisor role within shared services. Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance. Experience with HRIS platforms (HCM, SAP, Workday, Oracle, etc.). Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
