Job Description

As a Technical Support Team Lead at SolarEdge, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team of technical support specialists in providing innovative solutions for international markets. You will play a crucial role in handling and resolving complex customer issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Serving as an escalation point for unresolved technical problems, you will provide guidance to team members in handling challenging customer interactions. Your responsibilities will include leading, mentoring, and developing a team of technical support specialists, fostering their professional growth and teamwork. You will conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance. Monitoring team performance metrics, you will ensure that service levels and performance targets are met or exceeded. Additionally, you will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, peers, and managers. To excel in this role, you should have 5-7 years of experience in professional customer service and technical helpline or remote support. A proven track record in people management is essential, along with an engineering or technical qualification in Electrical and Electronics. Experience working with solar electric products is a plus. Exceptional listening and questioning skills, outstanding written communication skills in English, and the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment are also required.
