Job Description

Chartered Accountancy firm in Chennai

Key Responsibilities

Conduct
statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits
Assist in preparation and review of
financial statements
as per applicable standards
Handle
Income Tax returns
, tax computations, and related filings
Support
GST compliance
including returns, reconciliations, and notices
Assist in handling
departmental notices, assessments, and audits
Maintain audit documentation, working papers, and client records
Coordinate with clients to gather data and resolve queries
Support partners and seniors on assignments and deadlines

Desired Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of
Accounting, Auditing, Income Tax, and GST
Working knowledge of
Tally / ERP systems
and MS Excel
Ability to interpret financial data and regulatory requirements
Good communication and client-handling skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments

Preferred Profile

Prior experience in a
CA firm
Exposure to
multiple industries
and compliance assignments
Candidates pursuing CA Final will be an added advantage
