Describe the role: Accounts Payable role, requires an understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills. A degree in the following subjects would be beneficial for an Accounts Payable career a) Finance or Economics b)Business Studies c) Accounting The key job responsibilities focus on: a) 3-5 years of experience in Project Management in the non-voice BPO industry and preferably in Finance & Accounting process. Should have handled teams of sizes ranging from 10-15, with Associates reporting into him/her Technical Competencies: (Job related) Knowledge of Accounts basic and Fundamentals Knowledge of all applications used in the process Should create a baseline documents for referencing future projects Should have worked extensively on MS Office Should possess ERP knowledge What makes this role unique or interesting (if applicable)? Attention to detail and data entry skills are important requirements for an Accounts Payable job description. Employees will be interacting with employers and vendors daily, so it is imperative they are always able to interact in a professional manner.
