Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and student-focused Maths & IT Teacher to join our academic team for Grades 6 to 8. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject expertise, effective classroom management skills, and a passion for guiding students towards academic excellence aligned with CBSE curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities: Academic Delivery

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate Mathematics and IT/Computer Science lessons as per CBSE curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that cater to varied learning styles.
• Integrate technology, hands-on activities, and real-life applications to make learning effective and meaningful.
• Conduct periodic assessments, evaluate student performance, and maintain records as per school policy.

Classroom Management

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
• Encourage curiosity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and digital literacy in students.
• Ensure classroom decorum, safety, and adherence to school responsibilities and code of conduct.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain lesson files, student reports, attendance, and academic documentation.
• Participate actively in curriculum planning, internal assessments, PTMs, and school events.

Professional Development

• Stay updated with latest teaching methodologies, CBSE guidelines, AI-based learning tools, and educational technology.
• Participate in training, workshops, and professional learning communities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/IT or related field.
• B.Ed. (Mandatory) as per CBSE norms.
• Experience teaching Grades 6–8 in a CBSE school preferred.
• Strong proficiency in coding fundamentals (Scratch, HTML, MS Office, basic programming preferred—Python/Java bonus).
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
• Strong classroom control, planning, and organization skills.
• Student-centric approach with an ability to engage and motivate learners.
