Seeking a skilled Tax Manager with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant (CA). The candidate will manage all aspects of direct and indirect taxation, ensure compliance with Indian tax laws, and provide strategic tax advice to support our growth. This role demands strong expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Oversee preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns (ITR) and TDS compliances (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, 27EQ).
Manage tax assessments, appeals, and litigations (Scrutiny, CIT, ITAT Appeals).
Conduct tax planning to optimize liabilities for business transactions, mergers, and restructuring.
Reconcile tax accounts and stay updated on direct tax law changes.
Undertake / oversee transfer pricing documentation and audit compliances [Form 3CEB & Master File filing] as well as attend transfer pricing assessment / appeal hearings.
Handle GST compliances, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and ensure timely GST payments.
Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B for Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims and manage GST refunds.
Address GST audits, assessments, notices, and maintain e-way bill records.
Stay informed on GST law amendments.
Supervise and mentor junior team members on tax compliance.
Provide expert tax advice to Finance, Legal, Operations, and Business Development teams.
Collaborate with external consultants and identify tax risks.
Prepare tax reports and presentations for senior management.
Ensure adherence to statutory tax deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Develop internal controls for tax processes.
Support financial statement audits with accurate tax provisions and reporting.
Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI.
4-5 years of post-qualification experience in direct and indirect taxation, preferably in a corporate or consulting firm.
In-depth knowledge of Indian Income Tax Act, GST laws, and related regulations.
Proven experience in tax assessments, litigations, and appeals.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex tax concepts.
Proficient in tax software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
