Job Description

  1. Electronic Cash & Credit Ledger Management:
    • Verify month-end balances of Electronic Cash & Credit ledgers for all branches and joint ventures from the Government Portal.
    • Prepare a summary of Electronic Cash & Credit Ledger in Excel based on filed returns and portal ledger data, reconciling with month-end balances.
  2. Liability Setoff & ITC Management:
    • Prepare tables for Input Tax Credit (ITC) and cash setoff and record them in SAP & Tally.
    • Compile summaries of input tax credit used and cash ledger balances for filing monthly GSTR 3B returns.
  3. GST Returns & Compliance:
    • Export Purchase Registers and Debit Note Registers from Tally and process GST workings as per the standard format for finalization.
    • Prepare and file GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B returns and manage RCM (Reverse Charge Mechanism) invoice issuance.
    • Download GSTR 2B from the GST portal and prepare working papers for finalization.
    • Collect and compile data for preparing GSTR 9 & 9C returns.
  4. GST Notices:
    • Handle all work related to GST notices received.
    • Maintain tracking and status records of all GST notices.
    • GST audit related data preparation.
  5. GST Reconciliation:
    • Reconcile purchase register with GSTR 2B; in case of mismatches or errors, coordinate with Accounts for rectification and corrections.
    • Accept, reject, or mark pending invoices in the GST Portals Invoice Management System based on GST workings.
    • Prepare lists of invoices that do not reflect in books but show in GSTR 2B, and vice versa.
    • Conduct monthly follow-up via email with non-filer suppliers.
    • Pass various set-off entries and finalize GST book entries in Tally & SAP.
  6. Dispatch:Support in Invoice preparation & filling thereof

Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of GST laws and compliance procedures.
  • Proficiency in Tally, SAP, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interdepartmental coordination abilities.
  • Effective time management and adherence to deadlines.
