Description
You will be an essential team member at RSM, advising U.S. international business clients on various business and tax opportunities. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing complex tax returns and reviewing iTax returns - Developing, motivating, and training staff members - Interacting directly with clients to address questions, planning, and concerns - Conducting research and presenting conclusions on specific tax issues - Staying updated on current tax practices and law changes - Supervising staff and assisting with client tax engagements - Providing leadership, training, and mentorship to team members - Reviewing work for accuracy and quality - Using feedback and career development framework to enhance technical and soft skills Basic qualifications for this role include: - Strong technical knowledge of complex tax issues, especially foreign tax compliance - Experience in reviewing tax returns for iTax returns in various industries - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex tax information - A master's degree in accounting and/or finance - Proficiency in international tax policies and various tax forms - Strong technology skills using Adobe Acrobat, CCH Axcess, Microsoft Office, BNA, etc. Preferred qualifications include an MBA or MCOM with Finance and/or Accounting as core subjects, and being an Enrolled Agent/CPA would be advantageous.
