Responsibilities

Provide detail review and analysis of complex Private Equity & Hedge Fund partnership tax returnsWork on multiple complex issues while communicating in a non-technical matter to facilitate communication between the client and the service team, all while managing risk for both the client and the firmInteract directly with clients handling questions, planning, concerns, etc.Develop, motivate, and train staff level and intern team membersPerforming, documenting, and summarizing research and conclusions regarding specific tax issuesRemain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Accounting or related field4-7 years of experience in business taxation working for a Big 4 or a large national, regional or local accounting firm; or equivalent in industry or with a law firmMust be eligible to sit for the CPA exam, CA, EA or a licensed JDPrior tax compliance & consulting experience serving Asset Management clientsWorking knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and complianceAbility to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements

Preferred Qualifications
