Tax Senior Real Estate

As a Tax Senior in the Real Estate Tax Practice, you will be responsible for collaborating with clients in the real estate and REIT sector, with a primary focus on U.S. tax compliance and advisory services. Your role will involve managing client engagements, reviewing and finalizing U.S. federal and state tax returns, identifying tax-saving opportunities, maintaining client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. You will be expected to handle Form 1065 with real estate or REIT components, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, provide mentorship to junior team members, and collaborate with U.S.-based counterparts and clients on tax matters. Additionally, you will participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative solutions to tax challenges. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, a minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. tax compliance with a focus on real estate clients, and proven experience working with Form 1065. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience working directly with U.S. clients and/or global counterparts. Preferred qualifications include CPA, CA, or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification, experience with REITs or structured real estate funds, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and exposure to tax research tools and digital platforms. Candidates with stable employment history and hands-on experience in real estate tax structures and returns are preferred. This position offers a hybrid working model with 4 days in the office (Monday & Friday mandatory) and working hours from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST, subject to variation during peak seasons.
