Tax Manager - State & Local Tax, Income & Franchise

As a State And Local Tax (SALT) specialist at RSM, you will play a crucial role in managing the expectations of US leaders, overseeing state tax compliance for corporate entities, and leading a team of 10 to 15 associates, senior associates, and supervisors. Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities to expand the business by offering additional services to clients, acting as a career advisor and mentor, providing exceptional service to internal and external clients, collaborating with the overall tax team, conducting research to resolve complex tax issues, managing resource requirements and budgets efficiently, reviewing deliverables for clients, and coaching and developing team members. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors/Masters degree (preferably B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance) from an accredited college/university. - CPA or EA certification is required. Candidates who have partially passed the exam are preferred. - 7+ years of experience in US State and Local taxes Corporate tax returns. - Good written and verbal communication skills, team handling, and leadership skills. - Ability to manage and drive multiple engagements. - Excellent research and writing skills.
