Tax Analyst (Tax reporting FATCA CRS) Officer

Your impact on the business will be limited but direct, focusing on the quality of tasks and services you provide. **Key Responsibilities:** - Basic understanding and working knowledge of IRS Forms W-8 and W-9, Forms 1098, 1099 series, 1042-S, Forms 945, and 1042 - Familiarity with U.S. tax information reporting rules for U.S. Persons and non-U.S. Persons - Contribution to planning, accounting, filing, and reporting tax liability - Advising on procedures and concepts in the technical/subject area - Improving process efficiencies within the unit focus - Applying policies to the business with conceptual/practical grounding - Performing other assigned duties and functions - Assessing risk in business decisions with a focus on compliance - Excellent communication skills for engaging with key stakeholders - Providing basic advisory services primarily for internal clients - Experience with process re-engineering, process examination, and Process Automation - Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint **Qualifications:** - 4 to 6 years of relevant tax experience - Mandatory experience in CRS and FATCA due diligence or withholding or IRS reporting for client tax reporting **Education:** - Bachelor's degree If you are a person with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools or apply for a career opportunity, please review Accessibility at Citi.
