Tandem Developer

You will be joining a talented team responsible for maintaining the FIS Flagship Transaction Debit Processing Switch; Connex on HP Nonstop. Your role will involve leveraging the Safe Agile framework to provide innovative data solutions that drive real business value for both internal and external customers. As a multifaceted HP NonStop/Tandem platform software Developer cum SRE, you will have a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities in Card Transaction Authorization Processing (AP) function. You will be part of a scrum team consisting of project managers, developers, business analysts, and quality control testers. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, modifying, and unit testing software enhancements and/or new products. You will also be involved in defining system requirements, participating in Agile team meetings, creating technical documentation, and training junior developers. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in Connex or Base24 Development, along with proficiency in HP NonStop/Tandem development, TAL, COBOL, SCOBOL, Pathway, Enscribe, SQL systems, and Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe). Attention to detail, diligence, accuracy, customer service skills, analytical skills, decision-making abilities, problem-solving skills, time management skills, and willingness to share knowledge are essential. You should also have a resourceful and proactive approach, ensuring application reliability, availability, and performance, leading incident response, collaborating with security teams, developing disaster recovery plans, and managing deployment pipelines.
