Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate industrial sewing machines and equipment to construct, alter, and finish garments.
Follow patterns, measurements, and instructions accurately.
Inspect and measure garments to determine necessary alterations.
Perform quality checks on garments to ensure stitching and finishing meet production standards.
Collaborate with cutting, pressing, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the sewing area.
Identify and report machine malfunctions or material defects.
Meet daily production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a tailor or in a similar garment manufacturing role.
Ability to use a variety of industrial sewing machines (e.g., single needle, overlock, flatlock).
Good understanding of garment construction and production techniques.
Attention to detail and high standard of workmanship.
Ability to follow technical specifications and patterns.
Physical stamina for repetitive tasks in a factory environment.
Team player with a positive and flexible attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in mass garment production.
Vocational training or certification in tailoring or fashion technology.
Familiarity with different fabrics and materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
