Job Description

Job Summary: The Tailor is responsible for stitching, altering, and repairing garments according to design specifications and customer requirements. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of various fabrics, patterns, and stitching techniques. Key Responsibilities: Take accurate measurements and cut fabric as per patterns or design. Stitch garments (such as curtains, upholstery, or clothing) using manual or machine sewing. Perform alterations, adjustments, and repairs as needed. Ensure high-quality finishing and proper fitting. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and sewing equipment. Coordinate with designers or supervisors to meet production deadlines. Inspect completed work for defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
