job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will operate industrial sewing machines to assemble products with precision and efficiency, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Operate various types of industrial sewing machines (e.g., lockstitch, overlock, flatbed, coverstitch) to join, reinforce, or decorate garments or other items. Read and interpret work orders, patterns, and specifications to determine sewing requirements. Align materials and position items under needles for stitching. Inspect completed work for quality, making adjustments as needed. Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as changing needles or threading. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets. Identify and report any machine malfunctions or material defects. Requirements: Education is not required Proven experience as a sewing machine operator in a manufacturing or garment environment. Familiarity with different types of sewing machines and their functions. Ability to read sewing patterns and interpret technical instructions. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
