We are searching an Experienced Tailor for Our Design House in Lado Sarai in South Delhi; given below is the Job description for it.

Job Location: Lado Sarai, South Delhi -110030.

Salary : As per Industry Standards.

Job Timings : 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Experience: Must be having an experience of at least 2 years in a design.

Job description:

A tailor in our design house is responsible for crafting, altering, and repairing garments to meet individual client needs and preferences. This includes taking precise measurements, consulting on style and fabric, and ensuring a perfect fit through skillful sewing and alterations. He will also play a role in maintaining our reputation for quality and style by delivering high-quality, customized clothing.

Key Responsibilities:

· Client Consultation:

Discussing design preferences, taking measurements, and advising on fabric choices.

· Pattern Creation and Cutting:

Creating patterns based on measurements and specifications, and cutting fabric accurately.

· Sewing and Construction:

Assembling garments using various sewing techniques, including both hand-stitching and machine sewing.

· Alterations and Repairs:

Performing alterations on existing garments to ensure a proper fit and repairing damaged clothing.

· Fitting and Adjustments:

Fitting garments on clients and making necessary adjustments to achieve the perfect fit and silhouette.

· Maintaining a Clean and Organized Workspace:

Ensuring the work area is tidy and well-maintained, including proper storage of fabrics and tools.

· Collaboration:

Working with other staff members, such as designers or sales associates, to ensure quality and consistency.

· Following Instructions:

Strictly adhering to client instructions and guidelines when creating or altering garments.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

· Strong Sewing Skills:

Proficiency in various sewing techniques, including both hand and machine sewing.

· Knowledge of Fabrics:

Understanding different fabric types, their properties, and how they behave during construction and alterations.

· Attention to Detail:

A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate measurements, precise stitching, and a flawless finish.

· Problem-Solving Skills:

The ability to identify and resolve issues related to fit, construction, or fabric.

· Customer Service Skills:

Providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.

· Time Management:

Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

· Creativity and Design Sense:

Understanding of design principles and the ability to create garments that are both stylish and functional.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
