Job Description

The Systems Support Analyst role at Milliman involves providing technical system support to internal business users in accordance with EB Admin Service Level Agreements. Your primary responsibilities will include offering system-level support for multi-user operating systems, hardware, and software tools. This includes configuration, maintenance, and overall support for these systems. You will play a crucial role in facilitating clear and timely communications regarding system issues, enhancements, meetings, announcements, and the dissemination of documentation. In addition, you will be responsible for data management and reporting tasks, such as queries, data loading, and data manipulation. Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues, including client FTP sites, will also be within your scope of duties. As a Systems Support Analyst, you will need to leverage your technology skills, such as basic Microsoft SQL Query knowledge, familiarity with Windows Server, IIS, and Networking. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, will be essential in this role. Strong organizational skills are a must, as you will be required to multitask in a challenging and rapidly changing environment that demands constant decision-making. A bachelor's degree in any field or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required for this position. Continuing education is encouraged to stay current on relevant trends in employee benefits and application development. This may involve attending conferences, reading industry magazines and books, conducting internet research, and pursuing exams with the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). Key qualities that will contribute to your success in this role include compatibility with Milliman professionals, effective client interactions, attention to quality, strong communication skills, flexibility, and a detail-oriented approach. Your ability to identify redundant support processes and develop tools for automation, as well as maintain up-to-date documentation, will be critical to ensuring the efficient functioning of the systems support environment.,
