Systems Engineer (Presales)

As a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, you play a crucial role in the technical sales team by identifying complex security challenges in customers" networks and providing solutions with the company's top-notch security products and services. Your primary focus is on ensuring customer satisfaction and assisting them in detecting and preventing advanced cyberattacks and breaches while enabling secure application deployment across network, cloud, and mobile technology initiatives. - Understand and effectively present Palo Alto Networks" security platform and solutions - Collaborate closely with Enterprise customers in West India - Conduct compelling demonstrations of the company's products and solutions - Educate customers and partners on the modern network security landscape - Identify and qualify new opportunities, supporting technical pre-sales activities until opportunity closure - Expand the company's install base within existing accounts - Enable and collaborate with channel partners in a channel-driven sales model - Develop evaluation test plans with customers and lead the evaluation process to a successful conclusion - Differentiate from industry technologies and solutions - Assist customers through the support escalation process - Continuously improve and learn to stay updated with current technical knowledge - Identify and address problems in customer environments, engaging effectively at technical field and management levels - Excel in customer-facing engagements through writing, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or equivalent military experience, with a minimum of 6 years of experience as a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Systems Integrator - Techno-Commercial pre-sales experience in Network Security (NGFW, IPS/IDS, WAF, DNS security, etc.), Cloud Security (CNAP, CWPP, WAAS, etc.), and Secops (EDR/XDR, SOAR, SIEM, Threat Management, SOC, etc.) - Experience with systems installation, configuration, and administration of routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-based systems, with prior Active Directory/LDAP experience desirable - Proficiency in L2-L4 Networking, including L2 Switching architectures, IP routing (OSPF and BGP), and L4 Load-balancing - Knowledge of security and network product and technology trends - Experience in selling, demonstrating, installing, and solving network infrastructure security products - Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal - Excellent analytical skills for resolving complex multivariate problems systematically,
