Systems Engineer

As an experienced Network Security Engineer, your role will involve deploying various Open-Source Network Security Solutions, integrating relevant components, and optimizing performance and rules sets. You will be responsible for event-driven process flow and actions customization of IPC and enrichments. System engineering for reliability and system performance improvement will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be conducting research on new approaches and IP creation. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy various Open-Source Network Security Solutions - Integrate relevant components - Optimize performance and rules set - Customize event-driven process flow and actions of IPC and enrichments - Improve system reliability and performance - Research new approaches and create IP Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate in Computer Science Engineering with specialization in IP Networking - Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python - Strong understanding of IP Networks, Linux Internals, Scripting, LUA, Event Driven Scripting, YARA, and SIGMA - Experience with IP networking protocols, computer system internals, and IPCs - Knowledge of TCP/IP networking including various protocols such as SIP, RTP, SMTP, HTTP, POP3, FTP, STP, VLAN, VTP, BGP, OSPF, GTP, GRE, DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP/S, and SNMP - Familiarity with PCAP, DPI (Deep Packet Inspection), Suricata, SNORT, Zeek, and creating rules for IDS/IPS - Experience working with large networks (10G/100G/400G), network clustering, parallel processing, virtual appliances, Linux, cloud environment, network processing cards (NICs), and off-loading accelerations You should have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in working with Network Security Products such as IDS/IPS and Next Generation Firewall, and product development/solution engineering. Your expertise in the mentioned skills and qualifications will be essential for excelling in this role.,
