Systems Engineer

Your primary role will involve supporting existing applications and contributing to the transformation of our platforms to cloud-based web and API solutions. You will work within an Agile development team, utilizing Scrum and Kanban methodologies to ensure high-quality delivery to our market. You will play a hands-on role in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications and backend services, emphasizing quality and scalability. **Primary Responsibilities:** - Collaborate within a Scrum or Kanban team to develop and maintain web applications and backend services. - Support the team in maintaining existing software and data infrastructure. - Document new processes and products for knowledge sharing. - Implement best practices such as continuous integration and test-driven development. - Manage work within agile software development tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps. **Experience required:** - 4 to 10 years of development experience in a commercial environment. - Proficiency in C# or similar languages. - Familiarity with the Microsoft .Net Stack, including .Net Core. - Experience in developing REST APIs. - Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue). - Familiarity with cloud-based database systems like Dynamo DB, Aurora, MySQL. - Understanding of cloud platforms, especially Azure and AWS. - Proficiency in Agile development methodologies. - Good grasp of GIT version control. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in working with scalable systems. - Collaboration in distributed development teams. - Understanding of automated delivery processes. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), JavaScript (ES6+). - Knowledge of microservice architecture. - Familiarity with Redux and other state management solutions.
