About The Role

We&aposre seeking a highly skilled and proactive Security Operations (SecOps) Engineer to enhance the security of our SaaS platform, applications, and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be on the front lines of our defense, leading security testing, managing cloud and network defenses, and integrating security practices directly into our development pipelines. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a passion for staying ahead of emerging threats and a talent for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Application & Cloud Security: Conduct comprehensive web application security testing for every monthly release, focusing on OWASP Top 10 risks. You will also be responsible for administering and optimizing our AWS security controls, including Security Hub, GuardDuty, and IAM policies, as well as managing and fine-tuning our Akamai Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Vulnerability Management: Operate and manage static analysis tools like Snyk and SonarQube to perform SAST and SCA. You&aposll monitor for CVEs, track end-of-life (EoL) components, and ensure open-source license compliance.
• DevSecOps Integration: Integrate security controls and automation into our Kubernetes environment and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub. You will also develop automation scripts with Python to streamline testing and security enforcement.
• Collaboration & Advocacy: Act as a security advocate, translating complex security issues into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical teams. You&aposll partner with developers to guide them on vulnerability remediation and help foster a security-conscious culture.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 35 years in a security engineering, application security, or penetration testing role.
• Security Principles: Strong, hands-on experience with VAPT, vulnerability patching, OWASP Top 10, and an understanding of core security principles.
• Cloud & DevSecOps: Proficiency in AWS security services and experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Tools: Practical experience with security scanning tools like Snyk and SonarQube, and WAF platforms like Akamai.
• Technical Skills: Strong scripting abilities in Python and experience with Linux/CentOS environments.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications: Professional security certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP) or AWS security certifications.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• GRC: Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), risk assessments, and compliance auditing.
• Emerging Tech: Experience with securing AI products and data warehousing environments.
