Job Description

As a Sales Manager in the TN region, you will represent Waters and introduce Waters products and services to the market. Your responsibilities will include understanding the customers" business and growth plans, converting this knowledge into solutions offered by Waters to achieve customer success. This role offers flexibility as you will work in the field and focus on a designated territory and markets. Your key responsibilities will involve: - Engaging with new and existing customers in various markets, including Instrument Sales such as LC/MS/Informatics & other portfolios - Developing and maintaining customer relationships, as well as identifying and expanding new accounts - Regularly visiting customers within your assigned territory - Conducting seminars and workshops at customer sites - Providing customers with high-quality technical advice to maximize sales potential - Collaborating with different departments within Waters to ensure customer success, including Instrument Sales, Chemistry Operation, Informatics, Service, and Marketing - Developing and implementing business plans - Managing personal time and sales activities effectively - Adhering to relevant Health, Safety, and Environment requirements for both Waters and customers on site - Utilizing systems like CRM, Sales Force, and Quotation system while focusing on improvements and upgrades Qualifications: Education: - University Degree in Chemistry or Engineering or equivalent Experience: - 10-12 years of Experience in Instrumentation Sales - Knowledge of Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, and their applications - Technical and practical solution selling experience, especially in selling high-end Technology products, is a plus Competencies: - Passionate, charismatic, and determined individual with the ability to work effectively in competitive sales environments - Customer-focused with strong listening skills - Ability to understand and communicate technical and commercial values - Good interpersonal skills, positive sense of humor, and ability to work as part of an integrated sales/service organization - Strong organizational and priority-setting skills - Proficient in English and regional language skills In addition, Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT) is the world's leading specialty measurement company, known for pioneering chromatography, mass spectrometry, and thermal analysis innovations.
