System Interoperability Test Engineer

As an engineer at Cisco, you will be part of the team responsible for developing and maintaining Operating System and Peripheral Support matrices for Cisco's UCS General Purpose and AI servers. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as next-generation Intel and AMD processors, Nvidia GPUs, PCIe Gen 6 I/O adapters, and modern storage solutions. Additionally, you will gain experience with Cisco Intersight, a cloud-based data center infrastructure management platform. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in data center orchestration, automation, and product development. You will play a crucial role in testing, deploying, maintaining, and fixing server and storage systems while driving operational efficiencies through automation. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 8 to 12 years of experience in system testing, data center operations, OS issue debugging, and automation. Proficiency in Python scripting is essential, as well as hands-on experience with data center technologies, storage networking, and server hardware. Your key responsibilities will include defining and maintaining the Operating System Support Matrix for Cisco UCS servers, developing test cases to validate OS functionality, configuring and administering operating systems on UCS platforms, and designing Python-based automation solutions. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless interoperability and high-quality standards in data center infrastructure testing.
