Job Description

As a member of the Cisco team expanding the UCS Server portfolio for AI training, inferencing, and AI edge use cases, you will be involved in developing and maintaining Operating System and Peripheral Support matrices for Cisco's UCS General Purpose and AI servers. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge server and storage technologies, including next-gen Intel and AMD processors, Nvidia GPUs, PCIe Gen 6 I/O adapters, and the latest storage solutions. Additionally, you will work with Cisco Intersight, a cloud-based data center infrastructure management platform. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in data center orchestration, automation, and product development. The ideal candidate is a skilled engineer with expertise in data center and cloud-native technologies, excelling in fast-paced environments and driven by the opportunity to make a significant business impact. You should be passionate about tackling technical challenges, innovating, and working in small, hard-working teams. Key Responsibilities: - Define and maintain the Operating System Support Matrix for Cisco UCS servers in collaboration with Product Management. - Develop and implement test cases to validate OS functionality across Cisco UCS platforms. - Configure, administer, and troubleshoot operating systems on UCS platforms. - Design Python-based automation solutions to streamline testing and workflows. - Test system integrations leveraging storage networking protocols and virtualization technologies. - Collaborate with teams and partners to solve issues and ensure seamless interoperability. - Conduct comprehensive testing of data center infrastructure to meet enterprise-grade standards. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. - 8 to 12 years of experience in system testing, data center operations, OS issue debugging, and automation. - Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals, infrastructure management, and issue resolution. - Hands-on experience with data center technologies, storage networking, and server hardware. - Proficiency in Python scripting and developing automation frameworks.
