System Analyst Datawarehouse

As a System Analyst Datawarehouse at our company, your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data warehouse design specifications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data warehouse architecture, including data models, ETL processes, and data integration strategies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating, optimizing, and managing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into the data warehouse. - Designing and maintaining data models, schemas, and hierarchies to support efficient data retrieval and reporting. - Integrating data from multiple sources into the data warehouse and ensuring data quality and accuracy during the process. - Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the data warehouse, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues. - Enforcing data governance policies and security measures to protect sensitive data within the data warehouse. - Collaborating with business intelligence teams to provide support for reporting and analytics initiatives. - Maintaining comprehensive documentation of data warehouse processes, data models, and ETL workflows. - Training and mentoring junior data analysts and team members. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Warehouse Systems Analyst. - Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and tools. - Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS), and data modeling techniques. - Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
